ADAM L. SIENKOWSKI
Adam focuses his practice on business transactions, real estate and dispute resolution. He represents both businesses and individuals.
Adam assists clients in business formation, corporate planning and a variety of other business-related transactions. He has represented numerous clients in business sales and acquisitions and reviewed, drafted and negotiated contracts on a wide assortment of matters. Adam advises clients on ownership, governance and operational matters and provides general legal guidance for the multitude of issues that can come up when running a closely-held business.
Adam’s real estate practice focuses on acquisitions, financing, development, sale and leasing for both individuals and businesses. He assists clients in all aspects of a transaction, including negotiation, land and title issues, zoning and land use, and drafting documents to facilitate a sale or purchase. Adam represents clients in lot subdivisions and combinations, variance requests and other zoning and land use issues that require city approval. He also drafts leases, easements, restrictive covenants and other documents related to real estate.
Adam’s dispute resolution practice is wide ranging and focuses on resolving disputes early to avoid costly litigation. When early resolution is not possible or preferable, Adam has experience litigating matters in a variety of forums, including administrative, arbitration, and city council, and through pre-trial, trial and post-trial in district court. Adam has also filed and responded to numerous appeals at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Adam graduated magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. While working as a law clerk during law school, Adam was an editor for the William Mitchell Law Review, President of the William Mitchell American Bar Association – Law Student Division, served on the student government as a part of the Student Bar Association, clerked for the Third Judicial District Public Defender’s Office and volunteered with the Innocence Project and Volunteer Lawyers Network.
Before law school, Adam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and was employed in banking. Adam currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Eden Prairie AM Rotary Club and also serves as its Public Relations Chair. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin and United States District Court: District of Minnesota. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, exercise, traveling and volunteering in his local community.
